He completed his Undergraduate and Post Graduate under The Tamilnadu Dr.MGR Medical University. He has worked in various positions in Dental Colleges in and around Chennai and presently working as Prof and Head of the department in Karpaga Vinayaga Institute of Dental Sciences. He has more than 11 years of teaching experience and 25 years of clinical practice.

He has attended and participated in various National and International Dental Programs and  Conferences

He has organised many dental programs and has been an Internal and External examiner for Undergraduates at various Universities of Tamilnadu and Pondicherry.

He is a Life Member of Indian Dental Association, Chennai branch and former Joint Secretary of IDA Chennai Branch.

He is a life member of ISPPD. He published various articles in National and International Journals
